Hi everyone! Today a purchased a new 10 gallon tank, and plan on moving my betta out of his 5 gallon and into the 10. The ultimate goal is a planted tank, but I have no idea where to start. I plan on going low tech, low light plants. What would work for my tank in terms of that? What light would be ideal? And substrate? I eventually plan on getting a small swarm of dwarf corydoras, and hopefully some shrimps. Any tips would be appreciated! If you think of a fish that would work well in my tank let me know, because id love some diversity. Thank you!

Oh! And on top of that I'm looking to fabricate a fish stand. I now have two ten gallons, and plan on more. The thing is, I'm limited on space. So the plan was to make somewhat of a cabinet so the tanks will be taking up vertical space instead of horizontal. Anyone have any experience with this? I've never built something before.
