How long should I QT new arrivals for ?
I have a guppy, long finned blue danio, and a baby african dwarf frog in a 10 G tank.

It depends, some people QT for up to a month, and some just add them directly. I suppose it depends on how much of a risk you want to take and how much you trust the source(petstore).

Most diseases will present within 20-28 days. That's the minimum period to QT.

As stated, there are various methodologies to QTing or not and it really all comes down to personal choice of risk allowed.

I QT 4 weeks. My fish were sick for 3 weeks before showing any signs of illness, and it was another month or so before I saw anything actually on the fish - until then it was just behavioral.

I got them from PetCetra - and they always have dead fish in their tanks !
I think i'll QT for a month, Ive had too many fish deaths.. I dont want more.
Thanks Everyone.
