Remember, what ever filter you choose, the flow rate is usually not as strong as the manufactures claim. Always go bigger if possible, especially if you plan on adding additional media to the filter which will slow the flow. You should seriously consider the APS 1400EF model. You could then remove the internals, once the new filter is cycled. I plan on getting the 2000EF model for my 200ltr....
