In my tank at the moment, I have two platy fry (both over 2cms) and 2 kuhli loaches.
I ordered gravel (a fine black quartz gravel) from my LFS which won't be here (due to a supplier delay) until the same day as I get my new fish. The new fish are being delivered and I can't change the day they're coming (I tried)!
I need to change the substrate, plant the new plants, do a water change, test params, refill the tank, add the fish, and I think that's it. The new fish will be in a couple of buckets with heaters in the water but still in the bags, so they'll be floating in temp matched water, the plants will be in their own bucket.
How long will the fish be ok in the bags in the bucket?
The ones coming are two more kuhli loaches and two dwarf gouramis, and 10 glass shrimp. I'm assuming once the tank is planted to put the shrimp in to give them time to hide?
