A few weeks ago a friend brought her fish to live in my tank. One was a large "shark" and I have not been able to identify it on line. Looks very close to a Columbian Shark but has no barbs near its mouth. This fish has large eyes that protrude from the side of it's head and it's mouth is straight across the face. It is basically black in color. Does anyone have any idea what it is? I may be able to post picture later today if needed.

Thanks

I was able to see pictures on line and it was an iridescent shark. Thanks to all who replied. I at least can now learn more about how to look after it.

I had a few iridescent sharks before. Very very active fish and great to watch. :)
