I have recently had a bad case of Ich in my tank, and now I just have 3 fish - two platys and one small catfish. I just bought a cole of guppies, which I really like. However, the two platys keep pecking at them. Is this a problem with the Ich that may still be around or can this cause any additional problems? Also, is there anything I can do to prevent this?
Thanks

Sounds like the "new kid" syndrome. New fish in tank....lets beat them up and show them whose boss. One thing you can do that will usually lessen if not stop aggression of this type is to rearrange the tank some...move a few plants, rocks, ect... This disrupts the territories of the old fish and they will often leave the newcomers alone after that. Another trick is to add any more new fish at night after the tank lights have gone out.
