You can feed your fish veggies. I use a veggie clip to hold them to the glass. You can also use elastics and hold the veggies to an ornament. Any uneaten food will cause higher nitrate issues. I remove any uneaten veggies in 24 hours.

what about using soemthing like a metal hanger to keep the veggies down
