Hi,

It's been a long time since I was last on this site. (I'm actually amazed that i remembered my username and password first time!)

So today I've got my new Lido 200, built the cabinet, and had a look at the internal filter.

My issue is the box/skirting which is sitting at the bottom of the filter. Does anyone know what this is for? There's no filtration holes in the bottom of the filter, so this skirting will just fill with air.

I've attached some photo's. :thanks:

I've decided to leave it as it is, and wait to see what happens once I fill the tank with water. It's just a bit odd there's no holes in the bottom of the filter, so the first point of filtration is through the poly pads. This used to be my last last point of filtration on my external, as it was just a polisher.

Anyway! I've got a couple of bags of Unipac Samoa fine sand on the way. I'll post a couple of photo's once I've got it in the tank.
