Got a 5 gallon hex for Xmas... Decided betta and a couple plants. Then picked up a couple 10 gallons. So I build this shelf, 5 on top. And the 10's underneath. I am going to do a blue cray in bottom and make the middle one a toad tank I think. Not to sure on betta type. Was sold a half moon. What you guys think?

Neat little tower you got there! I definitely think that is a Halfmoon Betta. What kind of plants you got in his tank? They look very nice.

Um... Think they are some type of sword. Sold as mixed swords. I know its not amazon. All I know is they are gorgeous and couldnt pass them up. Have flourite strate and a 50/50 bulb. Hopefully they stay that nice. They are new... So we will see. Easing Excel in so hopefully they dont melt on me.

Could you get a close-up of just the plant so maybe we could see it a bit better? From the pictures I can't really tell, but maybe someone else would be able to ID it.

Got a heater for the betta today. He is hiding near where filter is. Thought maybe it was due to tank temp and motor putting off heat. Idk. But when lights came on today he fled, swam around tank as if trying to escape. Is this normal? He looked very stressed and sat on bottom of tank for a while. Now he is hiding near filter again and water temp is 76. So its not that. Is this just a settling in thing?

Next tank set up. Gonna be a fire belly toad tank. What yall think? Cloudy bc I just set it up and didn't rinse the flourite I put in water area very well. I am gonna grow some plants. Wistria to start. The filter is a reprove filter. With 90 gph. It empties over this totem thing. Though it was cool. Pics in a sec.

Elevated the tiki men to cut flow down and now it is silent. Like the look a little better too.
