So I went and got some otos yesterday. Did my homework, so they got good parameter water, lots of plants, lots of algea. So far no casualties, of course, too early to celebrate. But all of them seem to be swimming around, not afraid of my betta, eating algae like there is no tomorrow.

Although unpredicted outcome - they sure do poop a lot. A LOT. 8O In a way that's a good sign, but hey, I don't want to shake my anubias down every morning to get rid of what ottos left.... Talk about gravel vacuums. :?

Maybe snails will show some interest - afterall it is mostly just semiprocessed algae I think....

Anyway, just rambling away

I was thinking of getting some but I'm worried that because of my UV I won't have the algae to feed them. Oh well, I like my stock level how it is right now anyway.
