First of all, thanks everyone for putting up with my recent tantrum. When it rains, it pours... but things are looking up!

I noticed the other day that my cloudy 29 gal had a couple of cracks in it. I have no idea what happened! A chip actually fell off! Anyway, I decided it was time to get a new tank and I bought a 28 gal bow front. It's beautiful and I love it! It's a few steps up from the old hand-me-down tank with the cracked and stained canopy. I think my fishies will like their new home.

I also bought new gravel, because the old blue stuff kept mucking up my water in the new tank - the water was grey. No issues with the new gravel yet.

The new set up is now up and running with two guppies in it. They are busy busy busy exploring their new digs.

I'm so excited!

I understand about the blue rock syndrome. lol. On my new bow fron I went with "nutmeg", looks wonderful, ordered 100 lbs to go in my 55 gal. Don't know if that's too much but wanted to make sure I had enough. Put nearly 35 lbs in my 26 gal bow front.
