Dont have any vinegar to test my rocks ... And i dont want these rocks to make my ph go up!
So i grabbed a container filled will my tank water and left the rocks in it to see if it changed the ph of the water... The didnt... Is that secure enough?
I really dont want the ph go higher... I just bought a gold nugget pleco 3 1/2 days ago ... And i dont want the ph to go higher than 7.4...

And also my drift wood is ready to be put in my tank! Idk if i should do a small water change before adding it or if i should just put it in there.
I don want to hurt my gold nugget pleco...

Be careful with DW. Ive spoken with people who have had their pH lowered by 2-3 because of it. Youll want to boil it to remove any tannins also.
