Oceanic Customer Service?
I just got a brand new Oceanic stretch hex 40. It is fantastic. Unfortunately, I made a major boo-boo. I was trying to cut a notch in the back of the plastic strip attached to the glass top canopy. I clamped the whole assembly to my bench in preparation for the cuts. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the plastic piece on the front (for lifting the door) was on both sides. The stress caused a break at the front of the assembly.
Now my question: Does anyone have experience with Oceanic Customer service? I sent them an e-mail, but don't expect a quick response with the holidays and all. I told them it was my fault and wanted to buy a new piece because my dealer doesn't have a spare top (and I don't want to get ripped of by the dealer, again, but I didn't say that.) What do you think?

They will tell you to order it through your dealer.
