Ocelo Sponges

So I bought these sponges to clean out an old empty tank, but they say on the package "not for aquarium use" because it "contains an antimicrobial agent in the sponge". Safe to use on an empty tank that is thorough rinsed afterwards?

I personally wouldn't risk it, only because there is no way to tell if you got every trace of chemical off
