Odessa or Tiger barbs with Rainbowfish?

I have a 55g heavily planted tank thats been up for almost a year with: 7 Rainbowfish, 4 Yoyo Loaches, 3 Bamboo Shrimp, and 1 SAE. Everything's been going good water parameters are: Temp 77, pH 7, Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0.10, nitrite 0, And im wanting to add some-type of schooling/shoaling fish and Ive narrowed it down to either Odessa or Tiger barbs, I have always wanted Odessas but heard that they like cooler waters but other sources say they like water up to 82? its very confusing, so id like to hear your guys thoughts on either tiger or odessa barbs with rainbows.

What kind of Rainbowfish? Large or small?

Boesemani 3 males 4 females all pretty close to full grown

Then tiger barbs are fine, but rainbows need room to swim. I don't know how heavily planted your tank is. Got a photo?

im currently out of the house the best way i can explain it is that its got lots of big Anubias and java fern on each side and lots of big thick forest like jungle val in the back
