I just barely added ammonia yesterday. I use the guide. Also when i put ammonia in the tank it already had nitrites. Would this effect the cycle and all paremeters are good

I would recommend u using NLS (new life spectrum) goldfish sinking pellets. They are about 3mm in size. IME because NLS pellets contains high quality nutrients! U only should be feeding about 5 pellets (average sized, juvenile u want to feed less but more frequent) otherwise Ur oranda will end up with constipation.
