Hi,

A while ago I posted about my poor water conditions and how to bring them back to par.

I Am now on the way back to safe water levels, but I have a question.

I had black algae growing when my water conditions were poor. Now as they are improving I'm noticing that I am now getting what looks to be orange algae? It a vibrant rust color. Dirty orange, but very visible.

Is this bad? Worse that black algae? Or not as bad as black, and is actually a slight improvement since my water is getting better?

Thanks guys!

I'll try to get a picture up when my g/f gets off work. I don't think it is the black dieing off though. It growing in spots the black didn't, and it growing overtop of the black algae. And at a much faster rate.

Thats what seems weird.

My water conditions are improving everyday, as I am continually doing water changes. But the algae grows worse, as conditions get better?

Whats up?
