Decided to switch my bn pleco for 4 oto's today, brought them home, acclimated them to my tank for half hour, tipped them into my net then into the tank, 2 went in without a problem, 1 took a couple seconds but the 4th was stuck good and proper, I gently shook, I expanded the net, I collapsed the net, I turned it inside out, I held it above the water, I swirled it under the water, not wanting to handle him I was really struggling for what to do next, I chose to cut the net as close as I could, as quickly as I could giving that the whole drama had been going for a few minutes and he was no doubt majorly stressed, good news is he's free, bad news is, he still has some net attached to his nose ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1440926968.091984.jpg it doesn't obstruct his eyes or mouth... 1ce again I'm at a loss for what to do next. I've gotta get it off, all ideas are welcome!!

Catch it and pull it off, it won't hurt you.

In the future you can use a specimen container. Otos are like velcro to nets.
