Hi, I too have a 7 gallon tank and i'm wondering if that's big enough to accomodate a pair of german blue rams? If not, will it be happy being on its own?

Welcome to the sight!!! :)
and no i wouldnt suggest it maybe 1 but thats pushin it. you would have to check your water often for nitrates and stuff (like ammonia) i would suggest some shrimp and a betta or maybe a couple guppies or some small schooling fish.

You could put a pair in a 10 gallon tank but a 7 is too small. I used 10g tanks for my breeding pairs and it worked well for them.

I don't think he wanted suggestions for that size tank, just an answer to his question. :)

I agree, a 7g is too small. I wouldn't even keep 1 in a 7g.
