Pale spots on my Cory cat

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Are they individual spots, or like a covering or layer? If they're a layer it might be either just fungus or velvet disease, which is caused by a parasite. If it's spots probably just ich or a fungus.
 
It looks like it's covering a few areas in a layer form. I can still see it's black spots under it. I'll try and get a better pick

The picture didn't show up. Because it's a layer, I'm betting that it's velvet disease, or just a fungus/bacteria.

Now a redish spot has appeared within it. Is this something it'll recover from on it's own?

Now actually, that's weird. Because I had a dwarf cory cat and when I found it dead, sorry, it had three red spots on it. I didn't notice any clear layer on top though. So my best guess is that it doesn't heal itself. I would do some research if I were you and definitely treat it. I hope it gets better though!
