Hi,

I have heard Panda Loach is a Unique, Rare fish.

One of the local fish guy sells it , can you advise what effect will it happen on planted tank , will it eat Neon tetra and shrimp ?

Regards,
Kunthanraj :thanks::thanks::thanks:

They're quite peaceful, and they shouldn't hurt plants or fish, but they do like slightly cooler water (maximum 75 degrees). I don't think they'll hurt shrimp as panda loaches feed mostly on algae/biofilm sort of foods, but I haven't tried it.

They prefer to be kept in groups!

Panda Gara ? Is that what you are referring to. I have one in my 90 gallon community tank. I had two but lost one about a year ago and yet to find another , I will keep looking. Very peaceful if that's what you are talking about.

I have 4 in my 75 gal. I LOVE them. They are very peaceful. I had to remove my flying fox from that tank he bullied them. They are so cute to watch. Each has a different personality.
