Parrotfish Colors?

Hi there, I saw the new parrotfish which have been dyed. What color are the normal ones? Just wondering. tia

I've been told by the lfs saleman that they are a shade of light brown or tan.

Anywhere from a yellow, to a beige, yellow-orange, orange, orange-red, red-orange. Some even have blue gill covers. Certainly beautiful enough on their own.

I think the fish in mayrees avatar is a goldfish.

Parrotfish have protruding upper lips. They are hybrids of freshwater cichlids (but I'm not sure from what), and are infertile.

No it is a blood parrot but I thought you guys were talking about something different. I did a google search on parrotfish and it was talking about saltwater fish thats why I was asking. I didn't know if you ment blood parrots Sorry!
