particles in the water

My tank has little particles floating in it. Not sure what it is. There are no fish. I have gravel in the bottom, but I washed it throughly. I have a 50 gallon filter running and a few live plants. How do I clear this up and what could it be?

Are they realllllly tiny? Usually it's normal to have tiny specs. But it could also be pieces of chipped paint off the gravel

Yes very tiny but makes the water look unclear.

Did you recently fill up the tank, how long has it been running?

Did a 10% water change today. It's 45 gallons. If i shut the light off its not noticeable.

Just let it filter for a while, maybe you stirred something up. Check on it tomorrow.
