Peacock Eel and Discus in same tank?

I've heard it's not a good idea to keep Discus in the same tank with the PE if the the PE is eating live shrimp. T or F? If so, to keep them together, what should I feed them since I can't set up another tank? Currently feeding brine shrimp an blood worms, both frozen.

Eating live shrimp? I dont follow? I think you could easily keep one with discus. The eel wont bother them at all, and will love the bloodworms.

My apologies, I should have been more specific when referring to "live". I meant to say live ghost shrimp. I had been up for about 22 hours when I put this together, lol. I haven't seen the PE eat yet, know their nocturnal, but they aren't dead either.
