Peas?

My guppie seems to be constipated. I read putting a pea in there will usually do the job. Is this true? If so, do I boil the pea or just put it in there?

Shell and blanch is normal. Sometimes just shell it. I shell raw frozen peas.

Put a couple in a little bowl of water and microwave for 30 seconds. Peel the shell off and smoosh the pea.

Always worked for me.

Sure. I do it every 3 days.

I do Fasting Friday and Shelling Saturday.

I feed everyone as normal on Mon/Tue/Wed, then do Frozen Fursday (I know, I'm sorry), Fasting Friday, Shelled Saturday, and normal on Sunday. Rinse and repeat. Throw in live food here and there as a treat, then I know everyone gets frozen food once a week as a treat before having nothing to eat on Friday, peas to clear them out on Saturday, then water change and feed on Sunday.

Works for me.
