i found this mini filter and i'm sure many already know about it, but i'll let people know who are looking for filters for 2-5 gallon tanks

I would not use that on anything larger than 2 gallons.

It only has a 16gph output.. at a low bio-load that would be a 3gallon at most..

I have 2 of those, they are very cool. I have one on a 1 gallon and one on a 2.5. Its the perfect size for tiny tanks. pretty cheap too.
