46 gallon bow, fluval c4. Play sand bottom.

My ph is consistently 8.2-8.4

Currently stocked with 9 white clouds, 8 espi rasboras.

Adding 8 sterbai Cory's tonight. Drip acclimation.

Do I need to be concerned about the ph long term?

IMO No. After they acclimate they should do fine. A consistent pH is far better than an artificially modified pH that bounces around. IMO it's more important to keep your NO3 down to < 30ppm for those fish you have. Have you done a KH test on your water to see how hard it is? BTW Congrats on the 46g Bow. Those are such beautiful tanks. OS.

Thanks os,

I have not done a kh test. Who makes the test? API?

Thanks,

Davis

Your lfs might do it for free, if soft than the test is worth getting imo. API have a test kit - pretty quick to do.
