Ph and alkalinity?

Always have problems with ph and alkalinity. Ph is about 6.0 and alkalinity is lowest on chart. I have 30 gallon with cories and tetras. Any ideas on how to raise these naturally. If not how about chemical wise. I do have live plants also.
 
You can add a few degrees of carbonate hardness (kH) via some baking soda or some potassium carbonate.

Use rotalabutterfly . com to figure out how much to dose to get to a certain kH value.

Then you can just run your water as is (after boosting kH)
 
You cam use shrimp reminilizers to raise gh or kh. Some raise gh and some raise both gh and kh.
