pictus catfish compatibility?

hi

will 4 pictus catfish of 3" be compatible in a tank of 2" electric yellows and blues in a standard 3ft tank?

there are lots of hidey holes and rocks. i read that pictus catfish like a ph 6.5-7, where as the africans like it above 7. mine's at 7.5-8ph.

will they be safe to go with the yellows and blues?

i've got pictus in a ph of 7.2, not sure about the electrics & blues, but i think i remember reading a profile on the electric's saying that the water should contain Malawi cichlid salt?

Once the pictus cats reach teir full size, anything that can fit in their mouth will be eaten, so I guess you should base it on that.

thanks guys, i have put them into my planted tank with guppies. yes i know they might eat the guppies, but i'm taking that risk, as i have to organise some tank space atm.
