I have some very short plastic Betta grass planted throughout the open areas of my tank. The grass is somewhat "prickly" and I was wondering if you thought it may be unsuitable for a loaches scaleless skin?

Anything prickly like that shouldn't be very good for it, it may irritate them. As long as there's some areas that are clear of it it could be okay to keep. I wouldn't, though. Why not some live grasses?

There's a bunch. Microsword is one a lot of people like, and Dwarf hair grass, although that's a little bit of a pain to take care of.
