I originally bought one cory because I didn't know better. Recently bought two more but the two stayed together and the one disappeared to the back of the tank. yesterday when I was doing a PWC the three cories were at the front of the tank REALLY close close together and this afternoon the three of them were playing in the bubbles from the air stone,and tonight the three were happily munching on the same piece of algae wafer. Meanwhile in the kitchen, the betta was playing in the bubbles from his airstone. He kept tumbled but he'd catch his balance and go right back, When he was ready for a break, he went over by the heater. I've never seen live bettas except in the cups in the LFS and and I am amazed that my little man swims so much. This sounds really stupid,but he's just like a real fish!!!! Du-uh. A delightful and wonderful surprise.
