Girlfriends heater died and no power to my tanks. All of my fish are semi dead (tropical) - piranha, oscars, silver dollars etc. need to revive te remaining ones swimming upside down. How do I save them? Hot water because they are already shocked or gradual temp change?? Have over 900 bucks in these tanks please help me!!!

Im a poor man with well over 2k in my tanks so i understand, but most know me as a newbie to the hobbie so I honestly dont know what advice to give , but hope u get the right answers and all turns out ok. Worse case scenario - youll still have the majority of ur investments, just have to replace the fish. I dont want then to die either but unfortunately can offer nothing but hope here. ?

If you feel plastic water bottles with hot hot water and put the cap on tight and let them float it should help. Change every half hour to keep it warm.
