I've had a clown pleco before and they get 3 inches max. I'd suggest that for only a 10g. Beware of other pleco's, they get very big and most LFS won't tell you that important detail. As for fry I don't think so.

I have a BN L144 plecco in my 10 gal. They get 4 " full grown. I checked with the breeder first who is a member of this fish forum And she said that these kind are fine in a 10 gal. I actually have 2 more coming in the mail from her this week and plan to have one in each of my 10 gal tanks. You do need to keep up with weekly water changes and water testing. they are my current favorite fish. They are a lemon yellow, blue eyed plecco. The breeder is Kama 55 and I highly recommend her. She does a great job of packing and shipping. Check the classified adds, I think she still has some babys and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. Alison:dance:
