Hi guys.

Can you please help ID my pleco. All other BN ive seen are so dark compared to mine, hes always been this colour so i know its not stress, he is around 2" ATM.

I know i have sand so is he adapting to that with his colours??
 
It would stand to reason that he is lighter because of your substrate being so light. Looks healthy to me, and if he is eating then that's a good sign.

I agree, my BN was waaaay darker but it's most likely him adjusting to his new surroundings.
 
For the record there is at least five difrent colors i have seen. Not including albino.

A very good point. It could be a little bit of a different BN. Mine was "Green Dragon" I believe. Maybe that's why mine was much darker along with the substrate difference.
 
Mine is the same. Had him on white sand and he looked like yours. Switched to black and now he is really dark!
