Pleco species

Bushynose pleco most likely.

Yeah, I would have to agree with Bryan, it's problly a BN pleco, just because of the size of it, normally BNs are the ones that stay small like that.

A clown is smaller than the bristlenose. My bristlenose has dots all over her and is about 3 1/2 inches long. My clown has more like a yellow tiger strip and is a little over 2 inches long, I think since it is so shy I seldom see it. There are several small pleco but they are usually very expensive and hard to find.

Sry can't figure out pic thing...do females not have bushy noses? Because mine definately doesn't. I have a Clown pleco also, so definately not that, it's slightly bigger and has polka dots.

Thanks! That does look a lot like it, also, sometimes lighter patches appear and sometimes it's almost completely black. I just assume it's trying to blend in.
