I've had a 10 Gallong Aqaurium for about a month now. I wanted to turn my light on and I can't because there's not enough plugs in the wall. So I went on down to Wal-mart to get the plug extenions and every single one says "Not recommended for use with Aquariums". Is it really that important? and What can I use then so I can turn my light on? Thanks

Get a powerstrip at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, ect... Mount it so that you can have a drip loop in all the cords going to it. That way, if some water drips down the cord, it doesn't go into the plugin and short it out. I would not use the cheap brown extension cords with the three plugs on the end because they are not grounded and they aren't made very well.
