My aquarium will eventually be 2.36wpg (when I get the CO2) and I'm just curious how bright most of you think it is. This will help me with my plant shopping.
Most plant websites categorize their lighting, but don't say what level light it is technically.
 
yeah, it really depends if you have compact fluorescent, or normal fluorescent. CF will put you into the low end of high light at 2.36wpg. high light plants should survive, just grow slower than a 3wpg tank.
Normal fluor. would only have you in medium range.
 
Ok, then you'll be pushing high light with that setup.

In the future, always include all the relavent information in one post. I wouldn't have known to go searching through all your posts to find the one where you talked about buying this fixture ;)
