And how small is small?
I have an assassin snail that I can't find 90% of the time, it's probably just hiding out out looking for food.

Will my betta try eat them I have 2 1 is the size of a pin head and the other 3 times the size ?

He may try but usually they can't get them of the glass, with the pond snails you only really know they are there when the population explodes

Ok I hope he hasn't eaten the big one

Don't worry about it
If he has eaten them it's a live and learn, next time wait till they are too big for his mouth and you will be ok.
If you don't see them after say a week then count em MIA

...It's a pond snail... Most people want to get rid of them or use them as feeders. I have a feeder tank of pond snails, various ramshorns and mts. You can throw in a little bit of an algae wafer or mine seem to like cucumber. (Blanch (boil) veggies for a few minutes)
