Pool Filter Sand (substrate)

Any one use this: Quickrete Pool Filter Sand. I believe this is sold at Homedepot and Lowes.

They claim:

I've read about and seen videos on you tube of people using it seen a few long term reviews and from everything I've seen it looks like a winner doesn't do anything funky to the water and the burrowing fish seem to enjoy it and best of all it's CHEAP!
