Possibility of keeping Male and Female betta's together.

I am planning on a reorginazation of all my tanks, and the step that has me majorly held up is my Betta's.

I would like to move them all from their 10gals into a much larger tank, However.. I am concerned that my veil tailed male would get to stressed being around two or three females.

The tank would be a larger one, 29 or a 30gal. Heavily planted and decorated with plenty of hiding spaces.

Do you think it'd it okay to keep males and females together in that situation.

I don't think your male would last in that environment. I had a "couple" once and she ripped him to shreds overnight. She did fine in the community tank, but not with him around. Someone else was saying they were or would be keeping some female bettas together and the advice was to watch them carefully. The females may go after each other. With it being heavily planted and seeing that you have two females in one tank already, hopefully the females will be fine.

The females are fine, they swim cheek to cheek all the time

Its not I would be cramping a male into their 10gal, it would be a much larger enviroment.

I just need to reduce the number of tanks I have, its gotten out of control [ I HATE [acronym:d676106413="Malaysian Trumpet Snails or Multiple Tank Syndrome, depending on context"]MTS[/acronym:d676106413] ]

I understand all the bettas would not be in a small tank. When my male and female were together, it was a 29 [acronym:de3024bf09="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:de3024bf09] community tank.
