I have seen leeches like that in my grandfathers ponds. Found a couple like that while I was raking the leaves around the sides of the pond. They were a hair bigger though.
 
Does it move in a vermiform fashion similar to this? If so, it's almost certainly a Hirudinean (and not necessarily sanguivorous at that).
 
ok hat was some big words, but if by veniform you mean like a worm, than yes. I think that it is certain that it is a leech, but if it were sanguivorous would they already be attached to my fish?

Probably; it's likely that, if what you have is indeed a leech, it's carnivorous - most species that turn up in aquaria feed on small invertebrates.
