Possible powerhead ?

Wondering if you guys think this would work as a powerhead.

Need to create some circulation in a 40 gl.

Sure it could. If you already have one I would DIY a way to diffuse the stream a bit, with a spray bar maybe. If you are needing to buy one then there are better, cheaper and more effective options.

I don't have one but there are so many out there I don't have enough experience to determine what would be better or more effective.

If you'd be so kind as to float a couple ideas out there I'd appreciate it.

Hydor Koralias are very good circulation pumps and they have a sleek look to them. MaxiJets are pretty good all purpose power heads. Both come in varying sizes depending on how much water you want to move and both are fairly inexpensive. Give them a look online but consider shipping charges, it might be cheaper to hit your LFS and see what they have available.
