maybe a strange question but..
does any one know if i can submerge a power head?

Mine says on the bottom "do not submerge" so I will have to say no.

An aqua clear? Uhh, i'd make sure before doing anything drastick.

CAnt submerge a powerhead?

Man I dont think I have ever seen a [acronym:69d3ff4e9d="Powerhead"]PH[/acronym:69d3ff4e9d] that you could not submerge. All the powerheads I have seen have sealed epoxy bodies.
