Hey everyone. I just recently got another fluval 306 canister filter. I noticed that my oscar loves putting his face up against the high volume flow coming from the filter now and was wondering what you guys thought about adding a power head to my 75 gallon tank. I heard its great for moving waste around the tank ensuring that the waste is sucked up into the intakes of the filters. I considered getting a koralia 750-850 power head to move the water and maybe allow my fish to swim against the current a bit. What do you guys think? What direction should it be pointed at if i did set on up. Maybe blowing against the front glass on an angle across the tank? Is it good for my oscar and flowerhorn cichlid to have flow like that in the tank so long as its not pointed down where they sleep?
