Hi all,
I added a foam pre-filter to my HOB to try and keep some fry from being sucked up into the filter. I was thinking about the sponge filters that are driven by an air stone and most say that these are great for the BB.
My question is will a foam pre-filter also help out with the good bacteria in the tank like a sponge filter does?
