Pregnant Guppy?

I've never had a pregnant animal before, let alone a fish. However, I know the signs but just want clarification, that what I'm seeing isn't just wishful thinking lol.

I picked up a few female guppies yesterday and noticed one was suspiciously fatter than the others, and also seems to have, what I would assume is a very dark gravid spot. I've noticed she seems to keep herself to herself and mainly stays at the top of the water, almost like she's gasping for air, but she has been eating.

yes, she is pregnant. idk when she will give birth. do you have a breeder box or fry tank?

Its a shame we don't know when she'll have them. I'll probably just pick up one of those critter keeper things and hope I don't miss the birth and have my other fish eat the fry lol

IMO, i think those critter keeper is too small. If you can find a 1 gal US. try putting the fries in there.

The one I plan on using is 2.5 UK gallons I'm going to have to a lot of research now, on raising fry. I haven't got a clue lol
