Hello, I recently bought a bag of silk plants at a fish store, and I've just soaked them in hot/warm water for over an hour and some of the color has leeched. I've read up on it and some sources say to not use the plants if the colors leech, but I have friends who just soak the plants until they stop leeching color, and then use them with no problem. So I kinda just wanted more opinions before I do anything! :p

Oh gosh I never soaked mine, just rinsed really well. I hope none of ours have leeched.

I am looking forward to hearing some replies about this too!

If the ones you have are from a big brand like Topfin, you should be fine! It's just that mine were sold in a plain plastic bag and they're just loose stalks, not cemented into a base or anything, so I felt safer soaking them! :)
