protien skimmer in FW
thinking of the advantafges of a protien skimmer in a freshwater set-up.
pros and cons? |

Protein skimmers don't really do anything for a freshwater tank.

FW doesn't foam up like SW does, so that a protein skimmer doesn't really remove significant amounts of organic material in FW. Thus, no real benefit in FW.
