Puffer pea or Dwarf puffer

We just got 2 puffer peas, we were told they will eat small snails, which we do have a few of, but will they feed on tropical flake/granular food? We forgot to ask at store

They prefer live food like blood worms, but I think flakes will work. I'm also thinking of getting some peas myself

They do not typically take flake or granular food. Frozen or live is your best bet along with snails.

+ 1. I have yet to see a puffer fish of any sort eat flakes or prepared foods.
