Purple Passion Danios

Anyone see these IRL before? I found them listed in stock online at a LFS, and my curiosity got the better of me, so I went in and picked a few up. Mine are just tiny juveniles and so are not very colorful yet...Looking forward to seeing them once they are grown!

Just wanted to update for anyone who interested..these are very active and fun to watch. Very interesting fish! Mine have matured and are starting to get quite colorful now.

*ha* You should be able to tell from all the algae on the rocks and the glass. lol

I have 8 of them in my 20 gal.

I have zebras, and let me tell you I do prefer these! They are also called Rose danios or Pearl danios.

Celestial pearl danios have a spotted body and bright red/orange fins. Very neat fish as well!

Thanks! They were pretty small when I bought them but all are doing well and growing nicely.

Max about 1.5 inches. They are more slender then a Zebra danio.
